What I liked

Working with robots and end of arm tooling. Creating robot attachments using aluminum extrusion framing, pneumatics, part present sensors, grippers, pincher clamps etc. Participating in plant improvement projects. Designing and building fixtures for checking parts for defects. Working with suppliers to standardize spare parts.

I wish I could learn more outside of Metrology.

Don't be afraid to be yourself, being comfortable in interviews can help you get the job easier.

What I liked

Freedom to be autonomous in projects, high level of ability to create change and a high level of respect from others. Easily able to coordinate change with numerous business/engineering fucntions.
