Working as a delivery driver, driving is not the only thing that I would do and I would often take the customers order, make the pizza, and deliver the pizza to them, while dealing with any problems along the way. Due to having to often do every facets of the job, my advice is paying attention is key. Although, what is even more key to success is immediately identifying, and dealing with, a problem as soon as it happens. I would often have problems that were my fault and had the opportunity to blame someone else or ignore the problem as I was just the delivery driver and people were not aware that I was part of every point of the process, but I always owned up to the problems, sometimes even if they were not my fault. Due to me owning up to my problems, I would often earn more tip money from the people as they respected the fact that I cared enough to fix the problem and own up to the problem. My advice is to deal with and own up to problems immediately and pay attention to everything so when problems do happen, you know the cause of the problem was and how to fix it.
