I loved the culture and the people that I worked with. I felt like I was making a difference and was able to see my work and its impact on the Brooklyn community.
What I wish was different
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my internship was remote. In many ways, this was great and allowed me to be flexible, but I do wish I was able to do more in person.
Advice
If you decide to do this interview, take initiative. You have so many opportunities for creativity and you are allowed to pursue what you want, but you need to be clear about your interests and passions.
