What I liked

Amazing company culture, and a very well-organized intern program. I got to be exposed to all parts of the company: all the contract manufactures where their printers are made, materials (filament) production facilities, etc. Loved working with a group of like-minded people who had the same passions for tinkering and technology that I did.

What I wish was different

Advice

I would definitely work on securing housing as early as possible, as Boston has expensive rent!

What I liked

Had an amazing time. The internship was full of impactful, self-driven work, and it was amazing working with crazy talented people on a best-in-class product in a world-changing industry. The rapid growth of the company made work extra exciting, but the culture is still fun as everyone is friendly and passionate about what they're doing.

What I liked

The problems Markforged is solving within the 3d printing space are incredible. The engineers are extremely smart and passionate about what they do. Having so many talented people dedicated to a goal creates an inspiring work environment.

What I wish was different

Advice

Don't be afraid to ask someone a question because you don't want to bother them. Everybody genuinely wants to help each other learn and the more questions you ask the better engineer you will become.
