I enjoyed writing up court documents such as social history, court memos, transfer request , etc. I also enjoyed reading the files about different juveniles and things they were being adjudication for. The intake process was also something I like. It allowed me to understand the process of how juveniles are put into the system
What I wish was different
I wish the internship was paid and had spent more time at the court house.
Advice
Be open minded and take all you can from the experience because you may be able to use it with future career.

Everything. Very knowledgeable people/supervisors, made it easy to learn.

It can be very dangerous in the field, as we operate primarily in Baltimore city and Western MD.
Advice
Always be aware of surroundings when out in the field.
