I enjoyed doing design on new solar arrays on rooftops as well as on farms to soon be constructed. I also enjoyed analyzing the data from different variables that affect production and profit margins using programs like HelioScope and PVWatts.
What I wish was different
I wish there was more design opportunities though over the summer is not a long period of time to design multiple farms/arrays. I would have enjoyed doing a co-op more so I could have more time to build and see the arrays design to operation and analyzing data from the computer models to actual output of the cells.
