Advice
I met with this company initially to discuss the opportunity to work there during the summer as an intern. After the interview process, I was told that they would like my help during the summer, and possibly during the spring part time as well. When i attempted to follow up when they had asked, I received no response for approximately 4 weeks. I was then asked to come back and talk, which i did. Mark the owner continued to reiterate that he would have a position for me, and even asked me how much I wanted to get paid, etc. A week later I received an email saying that they would no longer be able to hire me due to a change in their project schedule. Being that there was no mention of the fact that my position was not entirely guaranteed, I find the whole experience to be extremely unprofessional. I had rejected a few other offers based on what Mark had told me, so I would urge anyone applying to this company to be very skeptical of what Mark is telling you, and to prioritize other opportunities before MDI.
