What I liked

- Good work environment, friendly, knowledgeable helpful coworkers and mentors - Nice working hours summer half day Fridays - Good work benefits insurance, medical care, finance plans, corporate stock discount, wellness program, onsite medical clinic, company garden, walking loop - Free lunch provided at the company cafeteria - Dynamic and open work environment that allowed me to work freely and think creatively on a variety of projects, completed more than one project over the summer

What I wish was different

- More opportunities to work with other interns - Meet the CEO, typically interns meet the CEO for inspiration, motivation, and to understand how valuable of an asset they are to the company.

Advice

Apply, apply, apply, keep sending in your applications and resume if you would like to intern here. Be open to work at any available intern position even if it's not your major. This company treats its interns very generously and invests in truly exposing them into industry. There is so much to learn from every department.

Mechanical Engineering Intern

What I liked

I love this company. I got hired to do a year internship. This company has allowed me to work closely with teams and have given me tasks to do. I have not felt like an intern but like I am an engineer apart of the team. The products that I get to work on are medical devices that help to save lives. It has been a very rewarding position.

What I wish was different

When I interviewed they had me do a video interview. This was very different to me. I wish I had prepared more for a video interview or that BYU would have provided more of a help in that area.

Advice

This experience has taught me that companies care about your schooling and what you are doing but it is more important to show that you are willing to work and learn. If you can show future employers that you are willing to do what they need you to do and that your passionate about what they do, then you will succeed.
