What I liked

This was such a fun summer job! It's really just gardening at their cute house, there's a pond and a couple of friendly dogs. There is lots of fruits trees and herb gardens, they'll let you have some if you ask nicely!

Don't take this job if you are adverse to weeding and random yard chores! Good luck!

What I liked

I loved helping Michael pull out Invasive species on her beautiful property in Bayside. She kept me busy for 6 hours with a lunch break and bathroom breaks whenever needed. Also, she was very kind and descriptive with what she needed me to do, which was very nice because there were no miscommunications. She has plum trees and gardens that she allowed me to harvest fruits and vegetable from when I was done working, on top of my hourly wages.

What I wish was different

I wish I had been able to work for her more but the work was very straining on my body and she didn't need me as much as I was willing to work.

Advice

Gardening is something I love to do for free, getting paid for it is a huge plus. Being in nature is the most cathartic and beneficial work in my opinion. Try it, You may Love it.
