The staff was extremely personable, and the information they had me research changed my level of awareness on immigration issues in the united states.
What I wish was different
I wish I had known how to speak more than one language before taking the internship, It would have helped me contribute to the firm.
Advice
Be more versatile, in terms of knowing multiple languages, in order to improve your value to the company.

What I liked
I got lots of great hands on experience with immigration law, and the attorneys were and still are very accommodating to my schedule and are very willing to teach me about their practice. I appreciate them and their work so much.

Advice
I got this internship because I spent hours on Indeed.com and just reached out to something that seemed interesting to me. If you want an internship, I'd say you can't just expect one to fall into your lap. If you go out and actively look for something you're interested in, though, you'll be surprised by what can happen.
