About Michigan United Conservation Clubs

Michigan United Conservation Clubs (MUCC) is the largest state-specific conservation organization in the country. Its mission is to conserve, protect and enhance Michigan’s natural resources and outdoor heritage. Since our founding in 1937 to protect conservation from politics, we have defended the right to hunt, fish and trap in Michigan.

MUCC is a grassroots organization, which means that our policies are decided by our members, which include over 40,000 hunters, anglers, trappers and conservationists, and over 200 local and statewide sportsmen’s clubs and conservation associations.
