MiDAS was an amazing place to work with some incredible people. The company is very small and tight knit, which I found to be a very friendly and welcoming environment to start out in! Everyone working there went out their way to actively help me to learn the ins and outs of the food industry, especially pertaining to dry mixes. Overall it was a wonderful place to work that gave me an incredible amount of hands-on projects and experience!
What I wish was different
Advice
Don't be afraid to speak up if you are unsure of what you are doing or need help in any way; someone there is always more than happy to help you out and guide you along until you get your footing.

What I liked
Learning about real world work procedures that take place between departments in a company and getting hands on experience in my field of study.
What I wish was different
More experience regarding lab techniques used and be more involved in product testing.
Advice
Do not be afraid to talk to people from your industry because you wont learn of any opportunities by staying silent and also dont expect to know everything about what youre asked to do.
