It's a lot of fun to teach kids how to swim and see them progress and get better. Lifeguarding is also fun because you get to know the regular people who come.
What I wish was different
We had a big change in administration with two new superiors. The transition was a little bit rough and there was a big shakeup so I wish the transition had been a little smoother with more trainings and those in charge telling the staff exactly what they wanted to see changed or done differently and why as well.
Advice
You need to keep a positive attitude about work. Always do your best and get what needs to be finished done on time and correctly. Communication with your superiors and coworkers is important so that things can get done correctly and there aren't any problems. Be a good example to your coworkers, if they see you doing a good job, they'll follow along and also do a good job
