Do not be shy. Take the opportunity to learn. You are not supposed to know everything. Every company is different, but you can learn so much about how most industries work by being there and asking questions. There is no shame in asking. It is your best opportunity to learn. Also be friendly, these people may recommend you or help you get a job in the future. Try to make connections that will last you for your career.
