I liked the creative freedom to brainstorm and try my own ideas. The team was eager to hear my thoughts and feedback on how we were going about different tasks. There was great communication and camaraderie within the team even though I was working remotely from the main office. I was encouraged from the beginning that it was okay to fail and shouldn't let the fear of messing up keep me from being creative and thinking outside the box.
What I wish was different
I wish that I could've seen more immediate results of my work to launch Mon Ami in a new place.
Advice
Don't be afraid to share your ideas. Organization and documenting what works and what doesn't are keys to forward progress.

What I liked
I liked working in the fast paced start up environment. Because it was such a small company I was given lots of responsibility and got to work on a wide variety of tasks.
What I wish was different
There was not an established internship program so at the beginning they did not have that many tasks for me so I felt too young and in the way rather than actually helping.
Advice
Speak up for yourself! If you don't know how to do something- ask! If you finish a task and have nothing else to do- ask for a new assignment!
