If you want to work in the Horticultural industry, get experience as a grower. Either in a nursery, or greenhouse, or on campus, if you are monitoring crops everyday you will learn things that go beyond what you can learn in the classroom.

I came into this internship position with little experience and knowledge about this industry, but left learning a lot! My coworkers were awesome and Monrovia has a great company culture.
