What I liked
Having the opportunity to work in a smaller-scale law firm gave me a lot more hands-on experience with the legal system. The office is also very close to New York Supreme Court, Criminal Court, etc. so I was able to actually gain experience working inside of a courthouse as well. The office is also a shared space with a few other law firms, so it was interesting to see how different attorneys practice law.
