I loved the fast paced environment of the start-up and being tasks with jobs that would actually help the company succeed. It felt as though I was actually helping them grow rather then doing basic intern tasks. I also loved working in a start-up incubator and getting to know the other companies that worked within that space.
What I wish was different
I wish that there was more communication between the employees. Sometimes, I would not be able to get answers to questions fast enough or it would take days for someone to respond.
Advice
Work for a start-up. They give you a lot of hands-on experience and make you feel extremely valued as an intern. You are helping this company grow and increase their presence, which is really rewarding.
