The kind of technical work that I was doing. A lot of my friends worked at other recognizable place but they made photocopies whereas I worked on real projects for companies like Shell, Komatsu, and PetroCanada.

What I liked
It was an awesome summer experience working at Carter Academy. I got to help show incoming freshman how to be ready for school before their first quarter even started!

Advice
Building connections with people you can share your knowledge and experiences with is so uplifting and being able to see students you have helped mentor go on and succeed in school is something I highly recommend.
