What I liked

I loved being able to use my psychology coursework for a hands on experience. I got to see how IEPs function in a student's day to day life. I also loved how individualized the treatment is at NGL. Each student gets about 5-6 teachers on their team working together to make sure

What I wish was different

I wish the internship started earlier, so I could have more time with my students. The training process was reasonably extensive, however, by the time it was over I felt as though I did not have much individual time with my students.

Advice

Go in with an open mind. I was not sure what to expect and ended up having an amazing time.
