What I liked

Working at nate has been one of the best experiences of my life. I have learned so many new skills in my time with them, and at the same time always feel like my own talents are appreciated and encouraged. The company culture is amazing, and it is a such a friendly, welcoming, tight-knit group of colleagues. The work and fun balance is on point. Everyone plays a super "hands on" role in the company, no matter your position. We are all encouraged to take ownership of our work and try new things. Overall such a dynamic company, and I am so excited to see them grow!

2 Week Career Accelerator

What I liked

The people at nate are truly what makes everyday special. They don't take themselves too seriously all while sharing a passionate vision - making humanity more enjoyable through intelligent automation and genuine social interactions. During the 2 weeks, I got to choose from a basket of exciting projects, ranging from - consumer behavior, themed fashion campaigns, partnership strategy, marketing tactics... the list goes on! My stakeholders were awesome.

What I wish was different

Advice

Be creative with your projects and don't feel constrained, it's a startup! New ideas are always welcomed and encouraged.

What I liked

I feel respected and valued for what I bring to nate. The encouragement to come up with my own ideas and to provide input to the team is very important to me. Also, my coworkers and I have gotten along really well since day one. We’ve opened up about our life stories, backgrounds, family, and about our social life outside of work. We listen and encourage each other to move forward. Working at nate is an experience like no other!

What I wish was different

I wish when I started at nate it was not during COVID-19.

Advice

It's great to figure out what you like (if not knowing before hand) by submerging yourself into meetings, and chats with co-workers. You can get inspiration from all the teams at nate, and when you find your perfect team, go full force!

I loved that the nate team was so supportive and encouraged me to try new things and explore my talents. I was never afraid to fail, and when I did fail, it only pushed me to work harder!

I preluded my internship with Nate's 2-week Career Accelerator Program and it gave me a really good idea of the work I would be doing and the company culture. I recommend for anyone considering!
