Gave a great experience into the world of zoos. Got to work with several aviculturists and curators a the national aviary and learned a lot about their conservation efforts. There are several opportunities for students, and you are given the opportunity to come back as a volunteer as well.

Come in ready to learn. You need to be incredibly flexible as well. Husbandry is dynamic and animals don't stay exactly the same all of the time
