I enjoyed getting to play a part in political activism within the largest union in the country. NEA was also very supportive when I had a few personal issues during the conference

I wish that the caucus meetings were a bit more organized

My biggest piece of advice is to take chances. I almost did not apply for the position, but I did and had an amazing experience because of it

Hands on experience, lots of learning opportunities to strengthen skills. Good networking events. In the middle of the city.

At times it’s too independent, office is not busy during summer.

Always try to try to work with different departments and meet new people.
