I enjoyed learning about things that happen behind the scenes of a non-profit organization. Learning how the company makes money and is able to provide free service to the veterans who have fought for our county.
What I wish was different
I wish there would have been more work to do. I often times felt like I had nothing to do, because I completed all of the tasks that had been given to me and there was nothing else that I could do.
Advice
One piece of advice that I would share about this experience is that effective communication is key. It is important to stick up for yourself if you are in a situation that is not occurring the way that it was planned and the only way to do that is to communicate.
