The coworkers and customers were so kind and pleasant to work with! I also really liked how the company took steps to reduce waste, like not using plastic bags and donating money to local food banks when customers brought their own bags in.

I wish it hadn't been short staffed.

Be prepared to do everything, including stocking, cashiering, inventory, cleaning, etc.

Talking to customers and learning the ins and outs of a grocery store. As well as getting to know a small community within Boulder.

Better pay would have been nice, I also think that 8.5 hour shifts are tough on cashiers who have to stand in place all day long!

In order to succeed and enjoy this job you need to engage with the customers! You can learn so much from them and it will make the day fly by!
