What I liked

My teammates and supervisors are some of the best people that I've met. Everyone at the office is invested in my learning and improving my professional experience. I've been exposed to a wide variety of concepts and topics that are NOT taught in a classroom setting. The impacts that teamwork, communication, data quality, and project management have in the work that I carry out on a day-to-day basis are difficult to comprehend from class alone; my internship with Navarro has greatly broadened my perspective and thinking.

What I wish was different

I was fortunate enough to accompany a field team once this summer, however, I wish that I could've gone out more often! The field provides new and unique challenges at each and every site. I would've liked to become more familiar with the cutting-edge technology and equipment that our field teams utilize.

Advice

Attitude and work ethic make all the difference when confronted with difficult tasks/assignments. This experience has made me think about the future value of my work more-so than before; completing a task/project with thoroughness and accuracy now will pay great dividends for someone further down the line.
