What I wish was different
Working from home meant not interacting with very many people, so I would have welcomed the opportunity to spend more time in the Lincoln NCF offices or in community with others.
Advice
Use this opportunity to find something you love about your hometown! Additionally, think about something you've always wanted to address in your town and actually invest in finding a solution to the problem. You will receive any support you need from NCF, you only have to ask!
Keep a journal or a blog and read and research a lot. Use this as an opportunity to truly learn about what makes a community strong.
