What I liked
The staff at Nelson Irrigation was very nice and supportive. They taught me a lot of skills, like types of marketing strategies, studio photography, and slow motion video recording, and I was never limited to one task throughout the entire summer. They were patient with me, understanding I was new to or unsure on the ways they ran the marketing department and design work. Whenever I had questions, I got the answers I needed, and the people specifically above me gave me useful feedback. I appreciate that they wanted my success, and I left the internship with new knowledge, designs worth using for future job searches, and experience of a company setting as a designer.
