What I liked

Neuberger has a spirit of inclusion, equality and acceptance. No matter your major, age, gender, etc. you will be treated like an equal and they will identify and grow your strengths. Neuberger is excellent at finding ways to utilize your personal passion, strengths and goals while giving you personalized coaching to help achieve long and short term goals. The Neuberger team radiates passion and encourages personal achievement and individuality.

What I wish was different

I wish I had spoken up more about other tasks or projects I wanted to work on, because I know they would have listened! I was hesitant at first to take advantage of all the tools and resources they have available to help you, but you get back what you put in.

Advice

There are so many different areas of this business and I would recommend asking as many questions as you want to understand where you fit in best! The Neuberger team WILL listen and see value in your ideas, so don't be afraid to speak up and ask questions.

What I liked

I love my team. My bosses are constantly supportive, there for help, and always give me new opportunities to explore on my own. I am fortunate to be part of this accelerated culture. Their services are something I believe can help any company. All companies want to grow and make more money and Neuberger helps with that process. Being able to see a client learn something new and see their lightbulb go off, is so rewarding.

What I wish was different

I didn’t love the work that I was doing. I am not driven or passionate by sales and business development. It doesn’t get me excited. However, because Neuberger is absolutely amazing, they are helping me build an internal role, giving me specified tasks, and giving me tremendous opportunity to grow.

Advice

Be open and honest. What I have found is that employers HATE when you aren’t honest and real with them. By being open, considerate, mature, and willing to work hard, you will be successful in any job position. The same goes with your clients. Don’t lie to them, don’t mess with them; be honest, be real, and be yourself. That is my reciped for success.
