What I liked
I liked how it was computational research so I could do it wherever and whenever I wanted. I also liked my research topic as it was on environment and sustainability, a demanding global issue.
What I wish was different
I like it being a self study project however sometimes I wish I had teammates to bounce ideas off.
Advice
One piece of advice I would like to share about this experience is to expect for the unexpected to happen because in research everything takes turns. Also, be patient and to love the journey rather than being eager to gain results.

What I liked
It was very interesting research on Traumatic Brain Injuries and related topics. I learned a lot from my PI and the rest of the people in the lab.
What I wish was different
I wish it was a bit more fast paced, but other than that, it was a great experience.
Advice
If anyone else does research over the summer, make sure to do your work ahead of time so you don’t have to scramble to finish it all right before it’s due.
