I liked how structured the internship was! I got a lot of experience spearheading projects in a nonprofit space and learning the ins and outs of non-profit operations. The culture is welcoming and supportive to everyone as well despite how much you might know about the topic of factory farming.
What I wish was different
Nothing. It was actually really great.
Advice
If you need it, don't be afraid to reach out for some help or clarification with a project or task! There's a lot of pressure as an intern to do everything perfectly but you are learning. Be kind to yourself and give yourself a break.
