I liked how organized and friendly the senior staff was towards the new interns. The work was creativity based, and they allowed the interns to have full creative direction towards the projects offered. Furthermore, the weekly meetings regarding other departments and divisions within NYPL aid to the collective comprehension of various business activities to the interns.
What I wish was different
I wish the internship was longer, it was a wonderful experience and the networking connections made were important. It was a great first internship job that combined the music, publishing, and business world.
Advice
The advice I would give would be to not be afraid to ask questions. It is best to be a "sponge" and learn as much as you can while interning to apply to your future career.

Advice
There will be times where you have nothing to do and other times when you are rushing to get tasks done. It's okay to ask for help from those who have nothing to do or help those if you are sitting around.
