Supportive work environment with great staff and mentorship. Ability to get involved in political events and be a real part of the legislative process.
What I wish was different
I wish the program had some better resources for accommodations for students not attending a local college or university.
Advice
Make the most of the opportunity to work directly with political professionals by asking questions and to be involved in projects/work you find interesting.

What I liked
The work was straightforward, excellent practice with good, relaxed protocols and hours. Self-initiated and low-maintenance. Feedback was also provided swiftly, allowing for good skill development.
What I wish was different
I wish there were was a greater span of tasks I was entrusted to, I would often run out of work to complete long before my hours were up but the also encouraged me to slow down and more carefully evaluate my work.
Advice
I would advise putting yourself out there with the skills you already have and the ones you want to have so you will be given tasks you're good at and tasks you'll learn from, make it a custom experience.
