Traveling to far out, almost deserted, places can be one of the most rewarding things that you can do in your life, especially with work. When I interned with NewFields, they sent me to GoldBar Mine in Eureka, NV. Most people have never even heard of Eureka, NV before. But this summer was one of the most rewarding experiences that I have ever had. I met a lot of new and great people, and was able to create a small family on the jobsite. So don't shy away from travel. It can be rewarding.
