I liked working behind the counter because that was my small realm of responsibility. I only had to worry about things at the counter, which involved a lot of organizing, which I enjoy.
What I wish was different
I wish I could've only worked redemption and not done rides.
Advice
Make sure you give people the right amount of change back. It tells you on the screen. Pay attention to it.

What I liked
I enjoyed working the cashier and being able to give prizes out to kids (or kids at heart).
What I wish was different
Though we've switched over to a card system, people can still bring in their old tickets. I wish we had a machine to eat and count them rather than weighing them.
Advice
It's a very good first job. Just do your work and you'll be great.
