I enjoyed the work environment at the Norman Regional Health System Everyone was extremely friendly and made volunteering there the highlight of my day.

Advice
The advice I would give to an incoming volunteer would be to make the most of your time here. Volunteering isn't the most glamorous thing you can do, but having the ability to develop a relationship with the patients is what makes it worth it.

What I liked
The environment was very fast paced, and all work was done within certain time frames so it was easy to have the work days pass by quickly with everyone in great attitudes. Having everyone applied to certain tasks and labels , and with precision was great.
What I wish was different
It was a two part orientation with the hospital doing one and the clinic doing the second half. I interned for Internal Medicine and wish I had applied to work the neurology clinic.
Advice
With the numerous demand of working for 6 providers, the tasks can be very different with each one, so as to make sure you are doing everything right for each one, ask. It can be very easy to do it wrong each time, and each doctor has different ways he likes his schedule set up, messages taken, and
