What I liked
It was amazing to interact with people everyday and share my knowledge and passion about the animals local to Morth Carolina. I felt like Steve Erwin minus wrestling the alligators.
What I wish was different
I wouldn’t have changed a thing. It was a great experience that gave me a front row seat to what I want to do after a graduate.
Advice
Just because it’s an unpaid internship does not mean there isn’t value behind the experience. Pick an internship that looks fun for you or that makes you step out of your comfort zone. The whole point of internships is to test what you like and you should test as many things as possible.
