I enjoyed being able to connect on a deeper level with the community, opening up conversations with local farmers and fellow volunteers.

I wish that there were more diversity and more effort to incorporate people of various backgrounds into this community.

Communication is key, especially when coordinating schedules for many people.

I have enjoyed getting more connected with my community and local business owners!

I wish I would have been able to dedicate more time to other markets in addition to the ones I worked at.

I recommend volunteering or interning with the markets if you want to get to know the Humboldt community better and develop professionally.
