Try something different! Internships are a great way to gain experience in positions you may not have tried before. I am not interested in accounting, but it was fascinating to learn how dependent a business can be on its data. I would encourage students to branch out and try something they are interested in as a way to build your resume, rather than look for applicable internships only. Plus, you may find something you never thought you would like!
