The OC Riptide, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, fields an elite, wood bat summer college baseball team that attracts the top college baseball players from around the United States to Orange County for the summer. College baseball players compete within the California Collegiate League (CCL) to hone their skills, learn new techniques and gain exposure to professional scouts.
The Orange County Riptide organization is committed to maintaining a foundation based on teamwork, goodwill, relationships, hard work and ethics with the goal to develop players in education, sports and in life. The Riptide provides an outstanding environment for learning, developing, improving and obtaining confidence in baseball skills and abilities and in life outside baseball. In addition to success on the field, the OC Riptide is committed to developing and nurturing the skills of college students that seek careers in the sports entertainment industry through internships and real-world experience.
