“I loved the variety of responsibilities this job included. Living on a boat itself required smooth collaboration and communication with my co-workers, who I lived with for fifty days straight. My day-to-day duties included things like cooking, cleaning, repairs, organizing, and driving the boat. On days we offloaded fishing boats, I was in charge of keeping records of the catch, and giving a bill of sale to the fishermen. I also enjoy how much of the commercial fishing industry depends on things that are out of one's control, such as: weather, salmon returns, and when fishing is open or closed. ”
