The Congresswoman's staff is made up of an incredible team that I felt really took my interests into consideration when assigning me tasks. I sincerely enjoyed the work I was assigned, particularly the legislative research assignments.
What I wish was different
Due to COVID-19, a good portion of my internship was spent assisting staff with casework. Obviously this likely would not have been the case under normal circumstances, but it wasn't my favorite aspect of the work I did.
Advice
Make sure you network with the staff, they're all incredible and very eager to help you navigate the world of Capitol Hill and beyond.
