Ohio Citizen Action (OCA) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization which acts as a progressive force influencing legislation, public policy, and corporate accountability. In person, over the phone, and online, we empower citizens by involving them in campaigns to protect the environment, public health and safety, and to keep essential services such as utility rates affordable.
Citizen involvement is essential for the democratic process to function. That is why Ohio Citizen Action’s mission is to effect positive change on crucial issues by bringing citizens' voice to corporate heads, elected representatives, and public officials. This has proven effective in passing legislation and holding both politicians and corporations accountable.
As we always have, we at OCA will continue to implement grassroots-organizing strategies to improve the health of Ohio's environment, promote socioeconomic equity for all Ohioans, and hold government & corporations accountable.
