It would be better if some of the associates were all hardworking and willing to help.
Advice
Asking for help and be intimidating but it is so helpful in this job. There are projects that are done specifically, so it’s important to ask questions.

What I liked
I truly loved working at Old Navy. The customers and my coworkers were always fun and great to work with. There were plenty of opportunities to pick up shifts and it felt like most managers really cared for all their employees.
What I wish was different
I wish some more hands-on training had been offered, specifically when it came to shipment or changing displays. Things always felt hectic when trainees were learning which caused frustrations for all parties.
Advice
My advice is to always come to work with a positive attitude and a clean slate for the day. Don't let a bad interaction the day before interact with the work for today.

Work hours were flexible. No experience required. Good amount of breaks and an hour for lunch. Learned many good skills.

Management was unreliable, and a lack of communication. Focused too much on making money then offering quality service.

I loved how friendly all the workers were at the location and I loved the routine of working there. I loved how we had our own lockers to secure our belongings and there was a code the workers would put in to get into the back room

My advice is to greet every customer and be as helpful and friendly you can be to everyone in the store.

I liked the laid back and comfortable work environment.

I wanted to keep working there, but I had to go back to school and they have a policy where if you are not on the schedule for 30 days or more, you are automatically let go.
Advice
Make sure you are very upfront about what days or hours you can work because the schedule is not set and changes weekly.
