What I liked

My coworkers were super nice and the environment was chill. We get a lot of elderly customers or families with young children so having people come in to mess around and be loud was not tolerated.

What I wish was different

Merchandise being ticketed properly so customers don't accidentally bring something up without a price tag on it which leads to long lines as we wait to find a match. I'm sure management would like that as well though and are searching for ways to resolve that.

Advice

Learn the general layout of the store fast, cashiers are often the first person customers turn to for help finding stuff. Since another responsibility of cashiers is to put away reshop that gives you a perfect time to learn the layout. Being able to do reshop quickly and reduce the amount of times other people have to tell you where something is will make you a favorite.
