About Olsson

We are Olsson, a nationally recognized, employee-owned engineering and design firm with a rich history of success.

We are more than engineers and designers. We’re experts who build solutions, generate ideas, and create designs that improve the world around us.

Our people are our greatest asset. Some companies say it - we really mean it. At Olsson, we exist for our employees, not the other way around. We have more than 1,600 employees and we're looking to hire team members who value collaboration, demonstrate personal accountability, and enjoy what they do.

Founded in 1956 on the very mindset that drives us today, we’re here to improve communities by making them more sustainable, better connected, and more efficient. Simply put, we work to leave the world better than we found it.

We offer a range of services from engineering, planning and design, field services, environmental, and technology throughout various national markets. Offices in AR, AZ, CO, IA, KS, MO, NE, OK, and TX.

The first step of your career begins here! Our student interns and new graduates gain practical hands-on experience working alongside seasoned pros. We hire talented students who are expected to contribute to our team in meaningful ways. A win-win however you look at it.

We post some of our student openings to Handshake, but you can view all our job openings and apply on our careers site:

Olsson's workload has been minimally affected by the events of COVID-19. We have followed directed health measures to ensure the health and safety of our employees working in the office, in the field, and at home. These practices have kept us from any long-term shutdowns of offices or job sites. We are planning to hold our summer 2022 internship program in-person, but opportunities to work remote may be available.
