Great company which gave me a great experience for the summer. I was given challenging projects that made me research and learn new software to complete. It is a very family-oriented company and I couldn't ask for a better experience from Oncor.
What I wish was different
The only thing I would have changed during my summer was for it to be in person. I worked remotely over the summer on a company laptop in the comfort of my house. Because of this, I lost some of the experience that I could have gained from building in-person relationships and meeting other interns.
Advice
This is a great experience that I wouldn't trade. My advice is to be open-minded when working on your projects. Your tasks will seldom ever have a single solution, but rather can be tackled in many ways. Definitely reach out to others in your group for them to teach you new software and hear their opinions on what approach you could take. Everyone is only a message away and I wish I utilized that more.
