What I liked

I loved the help/guidance we got from our mentors, company culture, company-wide intern events, as well as how much I learned about software development. I think all interns at ONEOK except for IT interns work individually, but I liked the experience of working on a team.

What I wish was different

I wish our project would have been a little more specific to the company. What we worked on could be implemented and used anywhere, though we did still learn a lot.

Advice

Take initiative to reach out to other people at the company. If they're doing something that interests you, send a message. If you think they might have expertise on something you're stuck on, send them a message. Chances are they'll be happy to help you out, invite you to shadow their meetings, and be excited to get to know you if you seem enthusiastic as well.

What I liked

I had so many opportunities to collaborate with other groups on my projects. Because of this, I had a wide variety of work which kept each day interesting and I made relationships all over the office!
