I helped out my community by securing donations for the Open Door Mission's Love Your Neighbor Silent Auction Gala . I enjoyed meeting and working with the various donors. I enjoyed sending out Thank You notes to donors to let them know how much their help is really appreciated. I also enjoyed seeing the fruits of my labor and attending the Gala and help out.
What I wish was different
I would have liked a little bit more interaction with the residents on the Open Door Mission Campus.
Advice
I felt that I made a difference and really did some good for the community. You'll want to give a little time and effort to help the community .
