I liked working 3/4 operas being a dresser and getting to know the singers as well as facing new dresser challenges with dressing 3 very different operas.
What I wish was different
Nothing.
Advice
Always be on time & be available to offer your help to the singers when they need it. They have a hard enough job remembering their lines for the show, so be a big help to them with helping them into their costumes.

The environment was fantastic! Opera Theatre of St. Louis (OTSL) is a great place to work. I love how they take care of the college kids that they recruit. They make sure that the experience is a positive one and that we learn and grow.
What I wish was different
I wish the communication was more consistent and professional sometimes. Information would be spread by word-of-mouth most often, and I didn't always catch wind of some important knowledge.
Advice
Be a team player and make yourself known! Participate with others because it's those personal connections you build that will taker you further where you want to go. It opens up opportunities, and makes the present experience more enjoyable as well.
